Mountsorrel Beat Team Update

This week, your Mountsorrel Beat Team has been carrying out a range of activities to support our local community and keep people safe.

Officers visited a vulnerable resident to check on their welfare and ensure they were receiving the appropriate support. Safeguarding vulnerable people remains a key priority, and these visits provide reassurance while helping us identify any concerns that may require further assistance from partner agencies.

The team has also been progressing several crime investigations, completing enquiries and following up on lines of investigation. While much of this work takes place behind the scenes, it is an important part of gathering evidence, supporting victims, and helping bring offenders to justice.

In addition to local policing duties, one member of the Beat Team was deployed to assist with a police operation elsewhere in Leicestershire. Neighbourhood officers regularly support wider force activity when required, helping to keep communities safe across the county while continuing to serve local residents.
